Campaign by Friends of Public School Association in Jbeil District
Friends of Public School Association in Jbeil District has launched a donation campaign under the slogan Lebanon in the Heart aiming to insure all the needs of public school in Jbeil district solely. These contributions involve: the teachers – the administration – the students – the buildings.

The economic crisis in which Lebanon is passing through in general and public schools in particular, has led to a nationwide strike for all public schools’ teachers thus classes are suspended on all the Lebanese territory and students are currently home without even online classes. This will certainly lead to a significant damage in terms of education and especially for students in grades 9 and 12 who have official exams.
For this reason, Friends of Public School Association in Jbeil District has launched a donation campaign to insure transport allowance for teachers and administrations working in Jbeil District’s Public Schools.
As a first step, Friends of Public School Association in Jbeil District has signed an agreement with IPT Company aiming to achieve this goal.

President of “Friends of Public School Association” in Jbeil District, Cynthia Al-Hayek, has cried out for help concerning completion of Amchit Public School project, where the drilling and construction work began in 1974, and then stopped for unclear and unknown reasons.

Al-Hayek undertook upon herself to follow up this file between the Council for Development and Construction and then to transfer it to the Ministry of Education in accordance with legal principal to complete it again.
